The Hague University of Applied Sciences began in 2003 with the Academy for IT & Design in Zoetermeer in close collaboration with the business community in Zoetermeer. Our Information and Communication Technology Bachelor’s degree programme is located in the Dutch Innovation Factory in Zoetermeer.
Interaction, Entrepreneurship, Research and Education: these words sum up the essence of the Innovation Factory. The interaction among ICT companies and between these companies and ICT education and research that takes place here is unique in the Netherlands. The concept also creates favourable conditions for start-ups. This enables the Dutch Innovation Factory to work towards creating a better link between education, research and the business community, making our degree programme even more interesting for our students and lecturers.
