Each faculty has its own Faculty Council. That Faculty Council meets approximately 6 times a year with the Faculty Director. For example, they discuss the Faculty Policy Plan and the Faculty Budget. The Council has the right to consent with the Faculty Policy Plan and for the Faculty Budget, it has the right to advise.
The Faculty Council has 12 seats, 6 student seats and 6 staff seats. The members are elected from the faculties concerned. The Hague University of Applied Sciences has the following 7 faculties, with the associated faculty council:
- Business, Finance & Marketing
- Public Management, Law & Security
- Health, Nutrition & Sport
- IT & Design
- Management & Organisation
- Social Work & Education
- Technology, Innovation & Society
The Daily Board consists of 3 members: the Chair, the Vice-Chair and the Secretary. They discuss all of the faculty’s current affairs. The Board is the point of contact for the Faculty Director between the official meetings.
