Databases of the week
From the 2025-2026 academic year onwards, the library catalogue homepage will be the starting point for finding information. The most important systems are: searching the catalogue, database overview, E-Publication Finder and the tools for accessing full text. See also the Tool Guide for more information.
EBSCO databases and ebooks
EBSCO will be performing scheduled maintenance on Friday, 9 January, from approximately 12:00 to 14:00. During the maintenance, there will be a brief interruption (approximately 10 minutes) in the availability of the EBSCO databases and ebooks.
EBSCO e-books
EBSCO will be performing maintenance on the EBSCO eBooks system on Monday, 8 December 2025, from approximately 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. During maintenance, users will not be able to download DRM-protected e-books. However, it will still be possible to read e-books online, download chapters and read existing borrowed books offline.

From now on, you can access this database via SURFconext by logging in with your regular login details.
NEN Connect
Due to a technical issue, some standards are missing images and formulas. A solution is currently being worked on. If you come across a standard with an incomplete online version, you can report it directly via the ...more button and select: report display error. Your report will be addressed immediately.
It is no longer possible to download standards from this database, you can only view them online. Teachers who still need a printed/downloaded standard can contact the library.
