Film screening with introduction & Q&A by the filmmaker

A unique opportunity to watch a powerful documentary and engage in conversation with its creator.

On Thursday, February 26, The Lighthouse Film Club, in collaboration with Movies that Matter, presents the documentary Home Game. Filmmaker Lidija Zelovic will be present to introduce the film and take part in a Q&A after the screening.

Home Game is a deeply personal and compelling documentary in which Zelovic uses intimate family footage to tell the story of her family’s flight from war-torn Sarajevo in 1993. By connecting this personal history to current social and political developments in the Netherlands, the film raises an urgent question: what does it mean to truly feel at home?

Why you shouldn’t miss this event:

  • Introduction by the filmmaker herself
  • Post-screening Q&A about the creative process and personal background
  • An in-depth conversation on identity, migration, and contemporary social issues

An evening for anyone interested in film, personal storytelling, and the world we live in.
