Do you love movies?

Do you enjoy watching films and talking about them with others? Are you curious about how films are made and what goes on behind the scenes? Join The Lighthouse Film Club! It’s friendly, inspiring, and a great way to meet people who love films just as much as you do. This edition, we’ll watch The Grand Budapest Hotel together and discuss it afterwards, as always led by Chris Heydra and Thijs Bos.

The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014)

A playful and stylish adventure, The Grand Budapest Hotel tells the story of the unlikely friendship between hotel concierge Gustave H and Zero, a young lobby boy. When they become caught up in the theft of a valuable painting and a fight over a family fortune, a series of fast-paced and often absurd adventures follows. The film is set in Europe in the years leading up to the Second World War.
