"I did my Bachelor’s in Applied Physics at THUAS. When I learned more about quantum, this new Master’s was just being developed. It felt like the exact right option for me. I like the course being taught entirely in English, since quantum technology is an international environment. In the first two weeks of this Master’s, companies already introduced themselves, providing valuable orientation in the Dutch quantum landscape. A real highlights of the programme? Hands-on projects witch companies, focused on real-world problems like quantum encryption, hardware optimization and sustainable chip design."

"I chose the Applied Computer Science programme because it’s hands-on and not just theoretical. Everything we learn feels relevant and connected to real-world tech. I decided to study in the Netherlands because it’s open to international students and has a growing IT scene — you can really see it becoming a hub for young professionals. THUAS and the cities around it, especially The Hague and Delft, just felt like the right place to study and live. Right now, we’re working on a game project, and it’s both fun and super educational — everything we learn has a purpose. A typical day is pretty relaxed: about four hours of class and some group work afterwards. Life here is safe and student-friendly, though you do need to budget well — but if you’re ready to work hard, it’s totally worth it."

"I chose Applied Computer Science because I love coding and computers in general. For me it's a passion to continue to grow and explore the world of computers. I chose THUAS particularly because it's hand on and not just theory. It gives me a chance to experience a lot of the problems I might run into in the future. And as for why I chose the Netherlands I have heard a lot about the country of how beautiful it is but most importantly it has a high level of inclusivity and education, those are the two main reasons why I chose the Netherlands. Right now, I feel like I have made the right choice with the university and the country as the lecturers are really good, and the material is keeping me intrigued and wanting to learn more. Sometimes things may get too challenging but the teachers are always there to help, which I really appreciate. Overall, I really like life here in the Netherlands as its save and I love how the program of Applied Computer Science is made and managed."

“Looking back to my studying days, I can now tell that IDE is a modular program, designed to be a series of knowledge puzzle pieces from which you can choose & start your own career path. IDE gave me the necessary tools to design a toy with a huge impact to children exposed to traumatizing experiences, and also curated me with the necessary soft skills & patience so I can deal with any obstacles. Now I work as a Product Designer at the largest handbags company in Greece, enjoying the big potential and challenges, trying to make a sustainable difference.”

"I work as a design researcher at The Hague University of Applied Sciences in the group Designing Value Networks. There, I focus on how design can be used to learn, think in systems, and collaborate to solve real-world challenges. My projects are around sustainability, such as affordable housing in Europe and sustainable farming. My background in Industrial Design Engineering (IDE) made this career feel like a natural step. For me, design and research go hand in hand. I often switch between the two, combining creative methods, content design and writing to create impact."
