E.T. (1982)

E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (or simply E.T.) is an iconic American science fiction film from 1982, directed by Steven Spielberg and written by Melissa Mathison. The heartwarming story follows young Elliott, who unexpectedly befriends an alien stranded on Earth. While E.T. longs to return to his home planet, Elliott and his friends do everything they can to help him get there.
With its blend of suspense, emotion, and groundbreaking movie magic, E.T. received worldwide critical acclaim and became one of the most beloved and influential films in cinema history.
