4 Top Degree Programmes and 3 Times Four Stars

The bachelor programme Chemical Technology (Process & Food Technology) programme - which has been rated as ‘good’ for several years - has been awarded the Top Degree Programme 2026 designation (4.5 stars) this year.

Three Associate Degree programmes have also received this award: the Associate Degree Social Work (4.5 stars) and the Associate Degree programmes Facility Management and Business Engineering, the latter two both receiving the maximum of 5 stars.

In addition, THUAS has once again achieved great results across the board in The Keuzegids and three degree programmes received 4 stars in the Keuzegids. These are the following degree programmes, each of which received four stars:

  •  Human Movement Technology
  • Climate & Management
  • Applied Data Science & Artificial Intelligence Zoetermeer

We have observed that associate degree programmes (AD) have carved out their own niche in the higher education landscape in recent years. It is therefore a great feat that three of our Associate Degree programmes are among the top in the Keuzegids. This recognition confirms that our focus on quality and flexibility is the right course of action. With the current growing need for flexible and personalised education that fits within busy work and private life schedules, our programmes offer just that. They also connect directly to the labour market demand, immediately strengthening the position of students and professionals alike. In this way, our Top Degree Programmes contribute to our vision of lifelong learning: personalised, customised and future-proof.“

"The fact that the Process & Food Technology programme and the Associate Degree Facility Management - which were already rated as ‘good’ last year - now emerge as Top Degree Programmes is a wonderful achievement. It confirms that quality requires continuous improvement and innovation. We do not settle for ‘good enough’, but strive for the best, for our students and for our education and for the professional field.” - Arend Hardorff, member of the Executive Board of The Hague University of Applied Sciences.

About Keuzegids

The Keuzegids is used by many prospective students when choosing their course of study and a university of applied sciences. The assessment of the Keuzegids is largely based on the results of the National Student Survey (NSS 2025); in addition, study success is also taken into account in the rating.
