Joost was previously affiliated with the Center for Healtcare & Technology of Fontys University of Applied Sciences. He was project leader of The Nursing Home of the Future Programme. He has been working at The Hague University of Applied Sciences since 2018. Joost focuses on the possibilities of the elderly, not on their limitations.

Jeroen's research line is about the learning of nurses in an (inter)professional context. He is looking for ingredients needed to develop successful training courses for nurses. The training should contribute to good skills, positive attitudes, a strong knowledge base and behavior of nurses.
