Team Sustainable Business Models

Linda has been a professor in the Faculty of Business, Finance & Marketing at The Hague University of Applied Sciences since 2025. In this role, she focuses on the development of future-proof business models that not only create financial value but prioritize social and ecological impact.

Rigtje conducts research on students' buying behavior regarding consumer products such as clothing and gadgets. She also works with regenerative skills in personal branding workshops at the economics courses.

Nina researches emerging finance-and ownership models for (regenerative) business. She is steward-ownership expert and author of ‘Toekomstbedrijven’.  Nina holds degrees in governance and marketing and is lecturer Sustainable Entrepreneurship (Summer School).

As an education coordinator, Jolanda ensures that Mission Zero’s mission and insights are meaningfully embedded in education. She connects research and education and works closely with study programmes, lecturer-researchers, and students to weave learning and working on sustainable transitions together.
Jolanda also founded the Mission Zero Student Community: a community where students and junior researchers meet, onboard, collaborate, and develop their own initiatives, supporting students in applying their talents in the practice of sustainable transitions.
 

Laura works on combining education with research to internalize the learning and application of strategies in nature to design solutions for the built environment. With a PhD in Biomimicry Design Education and a Master of Science in both architecture and biomimicry, she has established herself as a leading expert in her field, making significant contributions to the advancement of how to approach this field by novice designers.

She is affiliated with two Research groups: Circular Business and Future Urban Systems.
