Rutger is the lector Cybercrime & Cybersecurity at The Hague University of Applied Sciences and senior researcher of cybercrime and coordinator of the cybercrime cluster at The Netherlands Institute for the Study of Crime and Law Enforcement (NSCR).

Gerard Hoekstra is professor of Network & Systems Engineering Cyber Security at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. He is also responsible for Sovereign Security Solutions within the Cyber Defence Solutions division at Thales Netherlands. 

Peter Roelofsma joined the Risk Management & Cyber Security group in August 2023. His experience in safety and security involves the domains of: health care, smart cities, military command & control, aeronautical control and risk and management in traffic tunnels.

Marcel Spruit boasts many years of experience in information and cyber security. He is responsible for research into cyber security and the development of education in this field and is personally and intensely involved in both the research and education development.

Guus is manager of the Centre of Expertise Cyber Security. He deals with the day-to-day management of the centre and liaises with business, government and knowledge institutions.  

Madelief is a junior researcher and coordinator of Cyber Security Labs. She applies her blend of social and technical expertise to tackle cybersecurity challenges through a multidisciplinary approach.

Jildau investigates how cybercriminals end up in cybercrime and how they can get out of it. Within the research, she is the liaison for the Cyber Offender Prevention Squad (Team High Tech Crime, National Police). She also delved into the impact of online crime on victims for her doctoral research.

Sam is a junior researcher in the Network and Systems Engineering Cyber Security, Risk Management & Cyber Security and Cyber Security and Safety research groups. He conducts research on serious games for cyber resilience and network modeling. He has a master's degree in mathematics and experience with research in post-quantum cryptography.

Tijmen works as a junior researcher at the Cybercrime & Cybersecurity research group. He has a background in sociology, with a focus on criminology and safety.

Isabelle works as a junior researcher at the Cybercrime & Cybersecurity research group. Her research focuses, among other things, on cyber resilience. She holds a bachelor's degree in criminology and a master's degree in political science.

Linda B. Louis is a researcher at the Centre of Expertise Cyber Security and also teaches courses in technology law and international criminal law at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. Her research focuses on two topics: the regulation of deepfakes and their impact on cybersecurity, and international cooperation in the fight against cybercrime and the misuse of technology.
