Cyber Security Simulation Lab
In the Cyber Security Simulation Lab, students, lecturers, and researchers develop advanced AI models to simulate everyday cybersecurity scenarios.
Centre of Expertise Cyber Security
What happens in the Cyber Security Simulation Lab?
Students, lecturers, and researchers collaborate on developing network-oriented AI models to map everyday cybersecurity scenarios. These scenarios range from predicting the effectiveness of phishing simulations to modelling hacker actions within corporate networks. The outcomes of these simulations are used to support and improve organisational decision-making processes.
Who is involved?
Researchers, lecturers, and student assistants from the Risk Management & Cyber Security research group at The Hague University of Applied Sciences are involved, along with students and researchers from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
Role of students
Students enrolled in the Cyber Security Lab minor learn how to model scenarios using specialised software environments. They gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity and working with AI models.
