Project references

Below are a number of examples of recent in-company programmes organised in the Netherlands and abroad. These examples show a few of the many options offered by The Hague University of Applied Science Pro. However, as part of one of the largest knowledge institutions in the Netherlands, our expertise naturally extends much further.

Practical Project Management – Woonstad Rotterdam

The Hague University of Applied Science Pro organised the post-graduate Practical Project Management course for two teams from Woonstad Rotterdam, a corporation with more than 50,000 residences throughout Rotterdam. The two teams comprised a total of 24 project managers. The focus of this in-company programme was on the management of co-partners in maintenance projects. During the initial discussion of the company’s needs, it became clear that this element was considered the most important learning objective. In this in-company programme, The Hague University of Applied Science Pro further developed the course participants’ knowledge.

International Law – Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia

Once a year, The Hague University of Applied Science Pro organises a 10-week training programme for the legal experts working at the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia. During the programme, the participants work on their substantive legal knowledge and legal skills. Professional ethics is another major focus. The Hague University of Applied Science Pro has been organising this programme since 2017. The instructors are experienced trainers with a PhD and/or a minimum of 10 years of professional legal experience. Many of these experts and judges work for international organisations in The Hague and elsewhere in Europe.

Modern and Efficient Public Management – Government of the Federal District of Brasilia

For several years in a row, young government employees of the Federal District of the City of Brasilia (Brazil) attended an annual training programme called ‘Modern and Efficient Public Management’ organised by The Hague University of Applied Science Pro. The district wanted to actively contribute to the professionalisation of ambitious young government employees in the areas of technology, innovation, public-private policy and sustainable economic development. The curriculum comprised lectures, readings, workshops and excursions with a focus on public management. This programme was based on the Master of Business Administration programme offered by The Hague University of Applied Science Pro.

Conference on educational leadership – Universities in Ghana

The Hague University of Applied Science Pro organised a conference in partnership with the Ministry of Education in Ghana. The participants were a group of 40 educational directors responsible for the country’s educational institutions. The theme was innovative school leadership. This programme entailed further exploring the various aspects of innovative school leadership. We offered new insights and the participants trained their practical research skills. After completing the seminar, they were able to systemically establish, research and improve the results of both their students and their school.

Other programmes

The Hague University of Applied Science Pro also develops programmes for government organisations like the National Police, ministries and municipalities, as well as for healthcare institutions and the business community. All programmes are customised and dedicated specifically to the needs of the organisation concerned.
