10th International Workshop on Advanced Remanufacturing

Are you working on the future of sustainable and autonomous remanufacturing? Then join us at the 10th International Workshop on Advanced Remanufacturing (IWAR 2026), taking place from 14 to 16 October 2026 at the THUAS campus in The Hague/Delft, The Netherlands.

Formerly known as the International Workshop on Autonomous Remanufacturing, IWAR has grown into an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, engineers, and industrial leaders to present their latest research results, ideas, developments, and applications in all areas of sustainable remanufacturing. The workshop will bring together leading scientists, researchers and scholars in the domain of interest from around the world and enable the interactive exchange of state-of-the-art knowledge.

Tracks

A special session is devoted to Disassembly systems for the remanufacturing of end-of-life products, promoting the use of autonomous systems (robots) and human–robot collaborative systems.

We invite submissions in all areas related to autonomous remanufacturing, including but not limited to:

  • Circular economy
  • Sustainable production technologies
  • Sustainable business models
  • Green supply chains
  • Reverse logistics
  • Inspection and testing
  • IoT and Industry 5.0
  • AI in remanufacturing
  • Disassembly mechanisms
  • Robotic disassembly
  • Collaborative robots
  • Robotic inspection
  • Remanufacturing of automotive products

Presenters are invited to submit abstracts (maximum 250 words) describing their research. Selected papers will be published in the IWAR 2026 Proceedings (Springer Link).
