Theses, graduation reports, and other student products in the HBO Kennisbank

In the HBO Kennisbank, you will find theses, graduation reports, and other projects by students from The Hague University of Applied Sciences and approximately 25 other universities of applied sciences in the Netherlands. These are all freely available and accessible (Open Access).

Your thesis or project can also be included in the HBO Kennisbank, provided, of course, that your internship provider/employer and study program give their approval. As a student, you can make your graduation report, thesis, or project available on the HBO Kennisbank yourself, but you can also gain inspiration and find relevant theses or projects for your own graduation project or research. Here, in brief, are the benefits of publishing in the HBO Kennisbank:

• You save your graduation work for yourself and others
• You make your work visible to (future) employers
• Others can build upon your knowledge
• You can easily share it via the HBO Kennisbank, for example via social media
• Your graduation work becomes findable on Google and other search engines

The HBO Kennisbank sets a guideline that submitted graduation products must have a grade of at least 7 or higher. In this way, the quality of what is submitted is guaranteed. Additionally, each university of applied sciences often has its own quality requirements that a graduation product must meet before it may be published on the HBO Kennisbank.

If your thesis or graduation work contains commercially sensitive or confidential information (e.g., personal data), you can anonymize this information before submitting the thesis to the HBO Kennisbank.
