Are you joining the DutchPhotonicsEvent on September 19th? This event is all about the latest developments in photonics and optics and will be held at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. The program focuses on innovation and offers plenty of chances to grow your knowledge and connect with others. Sign up now!

What can you expect?

Petra Wicherink from PhotonicsNL will kick off the day. The program continues with a keynote by Steven van den Berg (Professor of Photonics) and John Bolte (Professor of Smart Sensor Systems) from the Centre of Expertise Digital Operations & Finance at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. They will share their insights into the practical applications of optical sensor technology, covering topics such as using optical sensors to measure crops in greenhouse horticulture, employing fiber optic sensors to monitor people, machines, and infrastructure, and measuring fine dust.

The theme of the day is 'Something for Everyone.' Photonics is a field with many different uses, and the program reflects that. There will be talks on medical imaging technology, laser satellite communication, and on-chip Lidar technology for automotive use. Plus, you can explore the plaza in front of the auditorium where many exhibitors will display their latest products and services. Want to see the full program? Visit the DutchPhotonicsEvent website for more information.
