Contributing to a sustainable and just world
In our education at THUAS, we guide students in their development as global citizens. We teach them to think critically and prepare them to contribute through their professional practice to a sustainable and just world. Naturally, the world is changing all the time. That is why we move with it: with an open mind, we keep our education up to date and relevant.
The aim of THUAS is to contribute to a sustainable and just society. That is why we provide high-quality, practice-oriented education and research. Through our close collaboration with regional and international partners, we also bring our educational vision to life. Together, we develop concrete answers to questions from society. We do this in our degree programmes for students who have just left school, but equally in our programmes for professionals. Our offer for Lifelong Learning (LLL) is aligned with the professional field and the issues that arise there.
Hence, we also set high standards for our staff. That is why we offer professional support through our learning network: The Hague Center for Teaching & Learning (HCTL). This centre advises on, provides access to, and organises professional development for all our lecturer-researchers, researchers, project leaders, and lectors.
This is how we shape our education
