That is why THUAS and Technische Hochschule Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) organized a joint two-day workshop on AI and Robotics. A collaboration that originated from UNINOVIS.

During the workshop, researchers and lecturers from various European countries had the opportunity to present their research interests and ideas. Through pitches, discussions, and working sessions, participants actively worked on building new partnerships and exploring potential research projects.

Spontaneous connections

UNINOVIS is primarily about how we can collaborate with our partners in the field of digitalization and data. Jacqueline van Marle, Head of the Strategy team, explains: “THUAS is currently the newest member of UNINOVIS, and we want to further strengthen these relationships. As a university, we don’t want contact with UNINOVIS to run only through my team, but to see connections emerge throughout the entire organization.”

A European university

By bringing together expertise from different disciplines and countries, THUAS, Technische Hochschule Würzburg-Schweinfurt, and the other UNINOVIS partners are building a strong European network. Jacqueline adds: “That is also the goal of a European University Alliance: to ensure that collaboration is not limited to a single faculty or programme, but that connections are formed at different levels that we can build on together as a European university.”
